Sports Law
The Middle East is largely considered the primary emerging sports market and continues to grow, offering a space for development. This potential across the region, particularly in the United Arab Emirates, brings significant opportunities and challenges and will undoubtedly serve as a catalyst for sustainable development.
Since sports law applies to sports organizations, governing bodies, and all areas of sports activity in the country, including free zones, its objective is to enhance the operational systems within sports entities and elevate their performance toward excellence. This law aims to build a distinguished sports community through partnerships between the public and private sectors, promote sports affairs, encourage private sector investment in sports, and implement governance within the sports sector within the framework of respecting the Olympic and Paralympic Charters, along with national and international laws and regulations.
It also supports sports organizations in achieving their goals in community sports, competitive sports, and athletic excellence at both local and global levels. Additionally, it encourages children, youth, seniors, and people with disabilities of all genders to engage in physical and sports activities.
